Descrizione
Round frames with mid-center connections and a bold, rounded bump nose. The connections are slotted and milled vertically to accept a cylinder hinge insert. The temple is slotted through, and the cylinder is inserted from the bottom. The configuration is held in place by bottom screw. The action is pre-determined by the specs of the pressed and constructed units.
There is a protruding bar that locks the closure on the connection when opened.
The temples start out with the locking bar and fold back, then taper out into a 4-sided / multi-pressed and trimmed shape. At the back of this shape is a core wire welded and an acetate “modan”
temple piece slides on and is screwed in place from the backside with a custom “map screw”.
The shape at the front is slightly rounded but tapers to a slender bow and is completed at the end with a squared off tip.
An educated and scholarly look that hides some deviations
They have the MAX pattern pressed to a raised format and an outer line that delineates the shape. The front connections, pressed with the same pattern as the nose bridge, curve back to accept the temple.
