Named for the colorful Basque caver in Trevanian’s book “Shibumi”
This is a bold, rounded frame (carved in 7 mm acetates) where the center of the left and right rims arch up like a curious gesture: the outsides sweep downward in a slide to the connections. The lenses are rounded squares.
The connections are 9 mm, and the temple starts there and flares up and down asymmetrically until it tapers into a 6mm bow ending in rounded temple tips.
The hinges are the signature mp block brass works, and the pins are also brass..allowing the welding with friction through the core wire when pressed.
